The first ever Grow a Garden 2 Admin Party took place on August 1, 2026, alongside the Fall Harvest Update. After months of developers saying traditional admin events would never happen in GAG2, Jandel confirmed the reversal on July 24, 2026 in the official Discord, pulling over 14,000 reactions in the first 15 minutes. The update itself dropped at 12:00 AM PT on August 2, 2026 (07:00 UTC), making the Fall Harvest the first standalone event world in GAG2 history.

This guide covers the full event recap, what was actually confirmed versus what was leaked, what the Fall Harvest Update contains now that it is live, and what players should do next. The GAG2 Event Tracker has live status on every active event running in GAG2 right now.

GAG2 Fall Harvest Admin Party: What Actually Happened

The Fall Harvest Admin Party ran on August 1 to 2, 2026 and marked the first full Admin Party in GAG2 history. Jandel personally joined public servers and hosted the session live. This section covers what was confirmed during and after the event. All items tagged UNVERIFIED should be cross-checked against community sources before making any trading decisions.

All Maple crops eligible for Cornucopia Quest submissions are Common through Rare tiers (10 crops). Epic through Mythic Maple crops are shop-only. For sell value comparison across all current GAG2 crops, the GAG2 Crops and Values Guide updates as in-game data is verified.

Important note on Leaves currency: All Maple crops are purchased with Leaves, not Sheckles. Sheckles do not work inside the Fall Harvest World. Leaves are earned by harvesting and selling Fall World crops at the Fall Sell Stand. The conversion between in-game crop farming and Leaves income has not yet been documented in full by community testing as of August 2, 2026.

New Pets Released

The Fall Harvest update introduced 8 new pets available through Fall Harvest Eggs and the Fall World pet shop, plus the Admin Party-exclusive Jandel Monkey that is now unobtainable.

Pet Rarity Confirmed Ability Community Value Estimate
Jandel Monkey Mythic (Admin Party exclusive) Every 15 minutes, summons random weather for all players on the server. Admin Party-only drop — now unobtainable through normal play. UNVERIFIED — no stable market as of August 2, 2026
Dog Uncommon Guards your garden and chases down thieves, biting and stunning them so they drop what they stole. ~5M Sheckles equivalent (UNVERIFIED)
Hedgehog Rare Defends your garden by rolling after intruders, tackling and knocking them back so they drop what they stole. ~5M Sheckles equivalent (UNVERIFIED)
Turkey Rare Struts around your garden and pecks the ground to dig up a random seed. ~5M Sheckles equivalent (UNVERIFIED)
Squirrel Legendary Digs up a random seed from the ground in your garden. ~1M Sheckles equivalent (UNVERIFIED)
Swan Legendary Wanders the garden and periodically spits water on nearby plants to speed their growth. ~20M Sheckles equivalent (UNVERIFIED)
Fox Mythic Sneaks out at night to steal a seed from other players and brings it back. ~5M Sheckles equivalent (UNVERIFIED)
Wolf Mythic Prowls your garden and summons a pack of wild animals whenever a moon rises. ~1M Sheckles equivalent (UNVERIFIED)
Shadow Dragon Super (Chase drop) Flies around your garden and has a chance to shroud each plant sown in the Veil mutation. 0.00464% spawn rate from Fall Eggs. ~20M Sheckles equivalent (UNVERIFIED)

All value estimates above are community speculation as of August 2, 2026 and should be treated as UNVERIFIED. Markets for new items are always inaccurate within the first 24 to 48 hours of launch. Ability details for Dog, Hedgehog, Turkey, Squirrel, Wolf, and Jandel Monkey have been verified through the GAG2 wiki. Shadow Dragon, Swan, and Fox abilities are confirmed in the wiki pet database. For current pet spawn rates, abilities, and tier rankings, the GAG2 Pet Calculator updates as community testing confirms values.

On Jandel Monkey specifically: this is the rarest item to come out of the August 1 to 2 Admin Party. It was distributed exclusively during the live Admin Party session hosted by Jandel in public servers and cannot be obtained through any current in-game method. Trade is the only way to acquire it now. Prices will be volatile for weeks. Do not pay launch-day prices.

Did Pizza Moon Fire?

Pizza Moon was expected to activate during the night cycle of the Admin Party based on pre-launch analysis of the game’s file data. Pizza Moon has existed in GAG2 files since launch and was built specifically for admin sessions.

Pizza Moon activation during the August 1 to 2 Admin Party event has not been independently confirmed as of this update. No community sources or verified post-event recaps document a Pizza Moon firing during the session. This section will update when community data is verified. Pizza Moon remains an unreleased mutation in GAG2 with a confirmed 5x multiplier in the files, and it is still expected to appear at a future admin event. The GAG2 Mutations Guide tracks all unreleased mutations including Pizza, Chained, and Solar Flare.

New Mutations Now Live

Mutation Multiplier Source Status
Veil Unconfirmed multiplier Shadow Dragon pet passive (applied to crops you plant) Confirmed live — multiplier pending community verification
Vile 50x (pre-launch leak) Source unconfirmed post-launch Listed in pre-launch data at 50x. UNVERIFIED post-launch.
Amber Unconfirmed multiplier Unknown source Listed in August 2 patch notes summary. Multiplier UNVERIFIED.

For all confirmed mutation multipliers in GAG2, the GAG2 Mutation Calculator will update with Veil, Vile, and Amber figures as soon as community testing verifies them. Note that mutations do not stack in GAG2 — a new mutation replaces the existing one on a crop. Clear low-value mutations before applying high-multiplier event mutations.

New Systems Now Live

Fall Harvest World and Leaves currency: The biggest structural change in GAG2 history is the standalone Fall Harvest World, entered through Explorer Ethan at the Garden Valley Explorer Stand. This is a fully separate game experience with its own economy. Sheckles do not work inside Fall Harvest. The event currency is Leaves, earned by harvesting and selling Maple crops at the Fall Sell Stand. Your main garden, Sheckles, pets, and gear are completely safe while you are inside the Fall World and stay exactly as you left them when you return. The event runs for 60 days, until approximately October 1, 2026. Jandel confirmed in-game: items not Magic Mailed back to the main world before the 60-day deadline are lost permanently inside the Fall World.

For current shop availability and restock status on Maple crops and Fall Harvest seeds, the GAG2 Stock Tracker updates in real time as items rotate in and out.

Magic Mail system: The only way to transfer items from Fall Harvest World into your main garden is through Magic Mail gear, which comes in three tiers gated by item rarity. Rare Magic Mail costs 500,000 Sheckles, Legendary Magic Mail costs 5,000,000 Sheckles, and Super Magic Mail costs 100,000,000 Sheckles. This is the most important mechanic to understand before farming heavily inside the Fall World. Every item you want to keep must be Magic Mailed before October 1, 2026.

Cornucopia Quests: The first structured daily quest system in GAG2 is now live. The Pilgrim NPC at the Pilgrim Stand inside Fall Harvest World hands out 5 daily quests per set. Completing each quest in sequence unlocks the next, and finishing the full set rewards one Cornucopia Crate. The Grand Prize Cornucopia track fills across the entire 60-day event. Quest types include submitting fruit, submitting weight, submitting rarity, taming pets, stealing, and growing tall. The GAG2 Event Tracker covers active quest status.

Trading system: A full crop, pet, and seed trading system with Trade Tokens was listed in pre-launch leak data. Its status as a confirmed August 2 launch feature is UNVERIFIED as of August 2, 2026. Pre-launch sources noted it in game files, but independent community confirmation in live GAG2 servers has not been documented in patch notes as of this update. This page will update when confirmed.

Guild Crates: Seven Guild Crates were spotted in pre-launch testing with a weekly restock pattern. Their confirmed live status as of August 2 is UNVERIFIED. This page will update when confirmed.

Vile Mutation

The Vile mutation was leaked before launch at a 50x multiplier based on pre-launch file data. A 50x multiplier would place Vile above Bloodlit (60x) — that figure cannot be confirmed as stated. The Vile mutation was listed in the August 2, 2026 patch notes summary by the GAG2 wiki. Its exact live multiplier is UNVERIFIED as of August 2, 2026 and will be updated here once community testing confirms it. If the 50x figure holds, Vile becomes a top-tier farming mutation alongside Bloodlit and Starstruck. For current ranked multipliers, the GAG2 Weather Tracker lists every live event and its verified multiplier.

What Is Grow a Garden 2 Admin Party?

Admin Party is the Grow a Garden 2 replacement for Admin Abuse. It is a live developer event where the game team joins public servers and triggers special activity that does not happen in normal gameplay. This can include rare weather events, direct seed drops, shop restocks with high-tier items, exclusive pet spawns, and developer communication through global server messages.

The community still calls it “admin abuse,” a nickname carried over from Grow a Garden 1 where it became iconic. The developers prefer “Admin Party” because the new design philosophy is lighter, less predictable, and less economically disruptive than the fixed weekly events GAG1 players were used to. The lead developer for Grow a Garden 2 is Adrien, known in-game as BMWLux. Jandel, who built GAG1 and hosted most of its admin sessions, returned specifically to host the August 1 to 2 Fall Harvest Admin Party — the first ever in GAG2 history. For active status on all current events running in GAG2 right now, the GAG2 Event Tracker monitors weather events, guild competitions, and admin sessions in real time.

What the August 2 Fall Harvest Update Actually Contains

Confirmed New Crops

See the full crop table in the Event Results section above. The short version: 24 Maple crop variants confirmed live in the Fall Harvest Seed Shop using Leaves currency, plus Amber Cranberry and Conifer Cone Sapling in the main update. Briar Rose, Romanesco, Thorn Rose, Pumpkin, and Buttercup were confirmed in pre-launch testing but are not listed in the August 2 confirmed patch notes and should be treated as UNVERIFIED for this update.

On Briar Rose specifically: it remains one of the most anticipated additions in GAG2 history with a reported seed cost of approximately 50,000,000 Sheckles. That figure is its purchase cost, not its sell value. The wiki lists Briar Rose’s base sell value at approximately 4,000 Sheckles per harvest at average weight. If it did not ship on August 2, it is likely arriving in a future update. For a live comparison of how Briar Rose ranks against top current crops by sell value, the GAG2 Crops and Values Guide will update when it is confirmed live.

Confirmed New Pets

See the full pet table in the Event Results section above. Shadow Dragon is the Super chase drop at 0.00464% from Fall Eggs with a confirmed Veil mutation passive. Jandel Monkey is the Admin Party-exclusive Mythic now only obtainable through trade.

The Pizza Moon Mutation

Pizza Moon has existed in GAG2 game files since launch and was built specifically for Admin Party sessions. Its confirmed multiplier in the game files is 5x with an orange aura visual effect on affected crops. It did not fire during the August 1 to 2 Admin Party based on current community data. It remains an unreleased admin-exclusive mutation alongside Solar Flare and Chained Moon. August 1 to 2 was the first opportunity for it to appear.

Any crops that did receive Pizza mutation during the session, if it fired in specific servers, carry collector value as first-ever holders. This section updates when community documentation confirms or denies the firing. The GAG2 Mutation Calculator will update with Pizza multiplier data once it is verified in live sessions.

New Systems Confirmed for August 2

Fall Harvest World and Leaves: Fully confirmed. See the New Systems section under Event Results above for full details on how the standalone world works, the 60-day deadline, and Magic Mail.

Lucky Restocks is a confirmed new weather event type introduced with the August 2 update. Use our GAG2 sprinkler calculator for budget optimizing and size luck info.

Why Admin Abuse Was Removed From GAG2 (And Why It Came Back)

The developers officially confirmed early in GAG2’s life that traditional Admin Abuse would not return. The reason was direct: in Grow a Garden 1, weekly Admin Abuse events caused serious economy inflation. Rare mutations became too easy to obtain, progression lost meaning for players who farmed every session, and a large segment of the community started treating the game as a weekly login rather than an ongoing experience. GAG2 was designed to break that cycle through smaller content drops spread across the week, a healthier shop restock economy, and a balanced long-term progression system.

Both games continue to run side by side. GAG1 still runs its own Admin Abuse events on the existing Saturday and Wednesday schedule. Players who want the predictable weekly format can continue playing GAG1. The full GAG1 Admin Events Schedule covers every GAG1 admin event time zone and preparation checklist. What changed for GAG2 was the scale and framing. The August 1 to 2 event was not a return to the weekly model. It was a singular, high-intensity event tied to the Fall Harvest Update, officially named Admin Party to signal that distinction.

Admin Party vs Admin Abuse vs Watering Wednesday: The Name Confusion Explained

Three different phrases are in use for three different things, and the confusion continues to appear across community channels.

Feature GAG1 Admin Abuse GAG2 Admin Party GAG2 Watering Wednesday / ADMIN ABUSE
Schedule Fixed (Saturday + Wednesday weekly) No fixed schedule, surprise-based No confirmed weekly pattern
Frequency Every week Infrequent, tied to major updates Occurred July 8 and July 15, 2026
Duration 1 hour approx. Ran August 1 to 2 (duration unconfirmed) 30 minutes confirmed
Host Jandel and Jhailatte Jandel (August 1 to 2); Adrien (BMWLux) ongoing Adrien (BMWLux)
Advance notice 15 to 30 minutes via Discord Minimal, Discord only Minimal, Discord only
Server type Public servers only Public servers only Public servers only
Economy impact High, weekly market resets Designed to be lower impact Small scale, confirmed limited
Current status Active and running Completed August 1 to 2, 2026. Next date unknown. Has occurred; no confirmed next date

All three are developer-run events on public servers only. Private servers do not receive developer visits or event effects. The GAG2 Private Server Guide explains exactly what private and public servers do and do not receive during live events.

When Is the Next GAG2 Admin Party?

The August 1 to 2, 2026 event was the first official Admin Party in GAG2 history. No next date has been announced. Based on GAG2’s design philosophy, Admin Party events are intended to be infrequent and surprise-based, not weekly. The next event will be announced on the official GAG2 Discord announcements channel with minimal advance notice. Enable notifications for that channel specifically to avoid missing the window.

The GAG2 Event Tracker will reflect the next Admin Party the moment it is confirmed.

Every Confirmed GAG2 Admin Event So Far

Pizza Moon: The Admin Party Exclusive Night Event

Pizza Moon admin-exclusive night event in Grow a Garden 2

Pizza Moon has existed in GAG2 game files since launch and has never been confirmed to have fired in a live server. Multiple independent sources confirm it was built specifically for admin sessions, with a 5x multiplier and an orange aura visual effect on affected crops.

Pizza Moon activation during the August 1 to 2 Admin Party has not been independently confirmed as of August 2, 2026. If it did fire during the session, crops carrying the Pizza mutation from this event would be the first ever to hold it in GAG2 history, carrying collector and trade value well above what a raw 5x multiplier implies. For a complete rundown of all unreleased mutations in GAG2 including Pizza, Solar Flare, and Chained Moon, the GAG2 Mutations Guide covers each with confirmed multipliers and expected activation methods.

The same applies to Solar Flare (5x) and Chained Moon (4x to 8x), the other two admin-exclusive unreleased mutations confirmed in GAG2 file data. None of the three have confirmed public appearances in any live server as of this update. All three remain on watch for future admin sessions. For mutation value tracking during any live weather event, the GAG2 Mutation Calculator models exact Sheckle output for any crop and mutation combination.

How to Know When the Next GAG2 Admin Party Is Happening

  1. Join the official GAG2 Discord. The announcements channel is the only confirmed source for Admin Party event times. Any specific times posted outside the official Discord should be treated as unverified.
  2. Enable notifications for the announcements channel specifically. Since events are announced shortly before they begin, a muted channel means the window will be missed. Enable mobile push notifications for the announcements channel, not just server-wide notifications.
  3. Be in a public server before the announcement lands. Admin Party events happen on public servers only. Being already in a public server when the alert fires removes the join and load delay that costs valuable minutes at the start of the event.
  4. Have crops ripe and in the ground. Based on the August 1 to 2 event and GAG1 precedent, weather events during admin sessions apply mutations to crops that are already ripe and in the ground. Empty plots are missed opportunity. For planning which crops to prioritize, the GAG2 Profit Calculator gives real Sheckle figures based on current multiplier values.
  5. Check this page and the GAG2 Event Tracker. The GAG2 Event Tracker monitors active events in real time and will reflect Admin Party status the moment it is confirmed or live.

How to Prepare for the Next Admin Party

  1. Have high-value multi-harvest crops ripe when the next event lands. If admins trigger Blood Moon, Sunburst, or any admin-exclusive weather, every ripe crop in the ground receives a mutation chance. Dragon Pepper, Moon Melon, Cosmic Carrot, and Star Fruit are the priority crops based on base sell value and multi-harvest nature. Crops in inventory cannot receive mutations.
  2. Save Sheckles. Keep at least 20M to 100M Sheckles liquid before any admin session. Shop restocks during admin sessions can include high-tier seeds at prices that sell out in minutes. Players with empty Sheckle reserves will miss those windows.
  3. Join an active guild before the next event. High-value mutations triggered during Admin Party sessions contribute to guild bracket scores. Being in a competitive guild means the session counts toward collective rewards. The GAG2 Guild Guide covers how to find active guilds and what the bracket scoring system values.
  4. Clear backpack space. A full inventory during an Admin Party means any direct drops are lost. Sell or store lower-value items before the event.
  5. Enable Discord notifications. The start time will be posted with minimal advance notice. Sometimes only minutes before the event begins.
  6. Be in a public server. Admin Party effects happen in public servers only. Get into a populated public server before the announcement drops, not after. The GAG2 Sprinkler Guide covers the correct sprinkler setup to maximize mutation coverage on all active crops during any weather event.

What to Do Right Now After the August 1 to 2 Admin Party

Get into Fall Harvest World. The event runs until approximately October 1, 2026 — 60 days. Walk up to Explorer Ethan in Garden Valley and enter the Fall World. Your main garden, Sheckles, pets, and gear are completely untouched while you are inside. Start farming Maple crops to earn Leaves and work toward the Cornucopia Quest rewards.

Understand the Magic Mail deadline. Any item you obtain inside Fall Harvest World must be Magic Mailed back to your main garden before October 1, 2026. After the deadline, anything left inside the Fall World is permanently lost. Rare Magic Mail costs 500,000 Sheckles, Legendary costs 5,000,000 Sheckles, and Super costs 100,000,000 Sheckles. Plan your budget around the rarity of what you are farming.

Hold new drops before trading. Prices for Shadow Dragon, Swan, Fox, Wolf, Turkey, and any other August 2 additions are unstable as of August 2, 2026. Wait 24 to 48 hours for community testing to establish real values. First-hour market prices consistently overvalue hype. The GAG2 Trade Calculator will help evaluate WFL (win-fair-lose) once the market stabilizes.

Check all crops for mutations. Any weather events triggered during the Admin Party may have landed mutations on crops that were growing at the time. Walk through every plot and check before selling anything at base price.

Track the Jandel Monkey separately. If the Jandel Monkey appears in trade offers, treat it as a collector item with no stable price point for at least two weeks. No comparable item has existed in GAG2 before this event. Rushing to buy or sell the Jandel Monkey in the first week is the highest-variance decision available right now.

Check the GAG2 Stock Tracker now. New seeds and Maple crops from the Fall Harvest Update are already rotating through the shop. The GAG2 Stock Tracker shows what is in stock right now, restock timers, and which Fall Harvest items have appeared since launch — updated in real time.

What NOT to Do After the August 1 to 2 Admin Party

  1. Sell new drops in the first 24 hours. First-hour prices for event items are always the least accurate of the full event cycle. Shadow Dragon, Swan, Fox, Jandel Monkey — all of these carry hype pricing right now.
  2. Leave Fall World items without Magic Mailing. The 60-day deadline is real. Items not transferred before October 1 are gone permanently. Budget for Magic Mail costs now, not in September.
  3. Panic-buy Jandel Monkey at day-one prices. No stable baseline exists for it yet. Early buyers are paying the maximum the market will ever set for this item.
  4. Ignore the Cornucopia Quest reset timer. Daily quests refresh on a schedule. Missing daily quest sets means falling behind on the Grand Prize Cornucopia track, which cannot be completed retroactively.
  5. Spend your full Sheckle reserve inside Fall World. Sheckles do not work inside Fall Harvest World. If you spend everything in the main world before entering, you will not have Sheckles for Magic Mail costs or any admin-adjacent restocks in the main world.
  6. Forget your main garden. Fall World is a separate experience. Crops still growing in your main Garden Valley continue to grow while you are inside Fall World. Log back into the main world periodically to harvest ripe crops before they are stolen during night.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the GAG2 Fall Harvest Update?

The Fall Harvest Update is the biggest content drop in GAG2 history, released August 2, 2026 at 12:00 AM PT. It introduced the first standalone event world entered through Explorer Ethan, 24 Maple crops purchasable with the new Leaves currency, the Cornucopia Quest system, 8 new Fall Harvest pets available through Fall Eggs, new gear including Syrup Sprinklers and Magic Mail, the Lucky Restocks weather event, and the first official Admin Party hosted by Jandel. The event runs for 60 days until approximately October 1, 2026.

What is Pizza Moon in Grow a Garden 2?

Pizza Moon is a mutation event built into GAG2 game files since launch that has never been confirmed to activate in a live server. Its confirmed multiplier in the game files is 5x with an orange aura visual on affected crops. It did not fire during the August 1 to 2 Admin Party based on current community data. It remains an unreleased admin-exclusive mutation alongside Solar Flare and Chained Moon.

Does Grow a Garden 2 have Admin Abuse?

No. The developers officially confirmed that traditional Admin Abuse will not return in Grow a Garden 2. In its place, GAG2 has Admin Party, designed to occur less frequently and without a fixed weekly schedule. The August 1 to 2 event was the first. Grow a Garden 1 continues running its own Admin Abuse events on the existing Saturday and Wednesday schedule.

When is the next GAG2 Admin Party?

No date has been announced for the next Admin Party following the August 1 to 2 event. Announcements will appear on the official GAG2 Discord announcements channel. Enable notifications for that channel to catch the next one the moment it drops.

What is GAG2 Admin Party?

Admin Party is the Grow a Garden 2 replacement for Admin Abuse. It is a live developer event where the game team joins public servers and triggers rare weather events, seed shop restocks, exclusive pet spawns, developer global messages, and other in-game surprises. It happens on public servers only and requires no Robux.

Who ran Admin Party in Grow a Garden 2?

Jandel hosted the August 1 to 2, 2026 Admin Party. The lead developer for Grow a Garden 2 is Adrien, known in-game as BMWLux. Jandel primarily focuses on Grow a Garden 1 but returned to host the first GAG2 Admin Party alongside the Fall Harvest Update.

Does GAG2 Admin Party happen in private servers?

No. Admin Party events happen on public servers only. Private servers do not receive developer visits or event effects. Players must be in a public server before any announcement lands. The GAG2 Private Server Guide explains what each server type does and does not receive.

Why was Admin Abuse removed from Grow a Garden 2?

The developers removed Admin Abuse from GAG2 to protect the in-game economy and maintain balanced long-term progression. In GAG1, weekly Admin Abuse caused economy inflation, made rare mutations too easy to obtain, and reduced the meaning of player progression.

What is the Jandel Monkey in Grow a Garden 2?

The Jandel Monkey is a Mythic pet that was distributed exclusively during the August 1 to 2, 2026 Admin Party hosted by Jandel. It cannot be obtained through any current in-game method. Its confirmed ability is summoning random server-wide weather for all players every 15 minutes. Trade is now the only way to acquire it, and no stable market price has been established as of August 2, 2026.

What should I do after the Admin Party?

Enter Fall Harvest World through Explorer Ethan, start farming Leaves by harvesting Maple crops, complete Cornucopia Quests daily, and plan your Magic Mail budget before October 1, 2026. In the main world, hold new pet and crop drops for 24 to 48 hours before trading. Check all crops for mutations that may have landed during the Admin Party weather events. For current stock availability on new Fall Harvest crops and seeds, check the GAG2 Stock Tracker before deciding what to plant or buy.

Should I buy Briar Rose now?

Briar Rose was confirmed in pre-launch testing with a reported seed cost of approximately 50,000,000 Sheckles, but it was not listed in the August 2 confirmed patch notes. Its arrival may be in a future update. Do not spend Sheckles chasing it if it is not confirmed live in the seed shop. The GAG2 Crops and Values Guide will update immediately when Briar Rose is verified in live servers.

Do I need Robux for Admin Party rewards?

No. The Jandel Monkey was given to players who were present in public servers during the Admin Party session. No Robux was required. All Fall Harvest content including Maple crops and Fall Eggs are available using Leaves currency earned through normal Fall World gameplay.
