For full timezone tables and preparation guide, see the Admin Events Schedule.
Several Summer Event additions are now trade-only following the event close. Verified items that moved to trade-only status on August 1, 2026:
| Item | Type | Status | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tidal Orchid | Crop | Trade-only | Summer Event crop |
| Beach Brella | Crop | Trade-only | Summer Event crop |
| Lagoon Lily Seed | Seed | Trade-only | Summer Event seed |
| Dolphin | Pet | Trade-only | Summer Event pet |
| Shelldon the Clam | NPC | In-game | Bug fixes confirmed in August 8 patch VERIFIED |
Players who missed the Summer Event can still obtain the Tidal Orchid, Beach Brella, Lagoon Lily Seed, and Dolphin pet through player trading. Shelldon the Clam remains in the game as confirmed by the August 8 patch notes, which included various Shelldon related bug fixes VERIFIED. For the full crop and pet lists, see the All Crops in Grow a Garden page and the GAG Pet Calculator.
The Harvest Moon event is active, which shifts the farming focus from the standard Seed Shop rotation to the 9 new event exclusive crops: Luna Bloom, Emberpear, Spirecrest, Strange Man's Wheat, Maple Flower, Clove, Sun Melon, Crescent Petal, and Twineberry VERIFIED on names, rarities and Sheckle values PENDING. The Wise Owl NPC is the primary event mechanic, requesting a different plant trait every hour. Each completion of the Wise Owl bar rewards 1 Moon Chest plus a chance for a Moonbeam mutation on a garden fruit VERIFIED. Players should prioritize planting crops that match the current Wise Owl trait request to maximize Moon Chest earnings. Use the Profit Calculator to compare Sheckle output between event crops and standard shop rotation crops before committing plot space.
With Harvest Moon Part 2 live, the trade market is absorbing both new event items and the recently trade-only Summer Event drops. Moon Chest loot (Wise Owl pet, event seeds, Season 7 items) is the primary new trade commodity VERIFIED. Early supply is limited because Moon Chests are gated behind Wise Owl quest completions, so the first 48 to 72 hours of the event typically see the highest trade values for new drops. Moss Wyvern (Divine) and Bendbark Seed (Prismatic) from Season 5 Pass remain scarce with no new supply entering the game, and their value is independent of the current event. Use the Trade Calculator to assess offer fairness before committing Sheckles.
Season Pass 7 launched with the August 8 patch with 50 levels, Free and Premium tracks, and a 749 Robux premium upgrade VERIFIED. The Season Pass Shop allows spending Season Pass Points on extra seeds, gear, and items. The Pet Mutation Machine (active since June 20, 2026 VERIFIED) and the pet level 500 cap VERIFIED remain in effect. Players should balance plot time between event crop farming for Wise Owl quests and sustained pet XP farming, since the level 500 cap takes meaningful time to reach even for veteran accounts. Bizzy Bee Honey runs remain the most consistent background Sheckle source since the Honey Garden is permanently accessible. For the full pet ability list, see the Pet Abilities Guide, and for pet trade values see the GAG Pet Calculator.
Harvest Moon Part 2 continued the Harvest Moon event from Part 1 (August 1). The patch added the Wise Owl NPC who requests a different plant trait every hour. Submit fruits matching the hourly trait request to fill the bar, with each completion rewarding 1 Moon Chest plus a chance for a Moonbeam mutation on a garden fruit. 9 new event exclusive crops were added, along with Season Pass 7, the Moon Chest loot system, and multiple new gear items.

No new mutations in Part 2. Moonbeam mutation was added in Harvest Moon Part 1 (August 1). Part 2 relies on the existing Moonbeam mechanic via Wise Owl quest completions.
This is a HIGH IMPACT patch. The Wise Owl NPC creates a new hourly gameplay loop that competes with traditional farming for plot attention. Players who can log in every hour to match the Wise Owl trait request will earn Moon Chests significantly faster than casual players. The 9 new event crops are all event exclusive, meaning their supply is time limited and they will become trade only when the Harvest Moon event ends. Moon Chest loot (Wise Owl pet, event seeds) is the primary new trade commodity. Early trade values for Wise Owl pet and Moonbeam mutated fruits are expected to be high given the Moon Chest is the only acquisition path.
Summer Event Part 4 added Pirate Quests (three quests refreshing every 2 hours for Tide Tokens), the Summer Collection completion system (80 percent complete unlocks the Red Beach Shovel skin), two new seasonal crops (Tidal Orchid and Beach Brella), the Dolphin pet, and the Shelldon upgrade mechanic via Diver Dima. Players submitted Tidal-mutated fruit to weight targets to upgrade Shelldon and reduce trade times.
| Crop | Rarity | Status | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tidal Orchid | Summer Event | Trade-only | Summer Event crop, now obtainable only via player trading VERIFIED |
| Beach Brella | Summer Event | Trade-only | Summer Event crop, now obtainable only via player trading VERIFIED |
| Pet | Rarity | Status | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dolphin | Summer Event | Trade-only | Summer Event pet, now obtainable only via player trading VERIFIED |
Tidal mutation remained the farming focus through the patch. Players farming Tidal-mutated crops had a second use for surplus fruit via Diver Dima submissions, which created a soft floor on Tidal crop sell values. Beach Brella and Tidal Orchid are now trade-only items. Early trade value is likely to be moderate given the Summer Event ran approximately 6 weeks and supply was high. Players who held these crops past the August 1 event close are positioned to see stronger valuations when the next event drops and demand for collectible crops rises.
Harvest Moon Part 2 is live with a new hourly gameplay loop. The priorities below reflect the active event rather than generic farming advice.
August 15, 2026 is the next expected Saturday patch. Harvest Moon Part 2 is currently live, so the August 15 patch may bring Harvest Moon Part 3 or a new content drop. This hub will be updated within 24 hours of the patch landing with verified patch notes, current event status, and updated focus priorities.
GAG1 events typically run in 3 to 4 part series. The Summer Event ran from July 5 to August 1 with 4 parts. The Summer Camp event ran from June 13 to June 27 with 3 parts. The Bizzy Bee event ran from May 9 to June 6 with 4 parts. Applying that pattern to Harvest Moon, which began August 1 with Part 1 and continued August 8 with Part 2, Part 3 is expected on either August 15 or August 22, with a possible Part 4 on August 29. This is pattern-based speculation and not an official announcement. Players should watch the official Grow a Garden Discord for confirmation.
A running log of the most recent GAG1 updates with the key additions from each patch. New rows are added at the top each Saturday as patches go live. Older entries are kept on this table so players can trace when specific crops, pets, or mechanics entered the game. The table now extends back to April 2026, covering 13 named updates.
